Levenhuk DTX RC1 Remote Controlled Microscope is a modern optical digital device that is indispensable when working with jewelry, watch mechanisms, electronic circuit boards, and other small and complex objects. Thanks to the wireless remote control, the main functions of the microscope can be used at a considerable distance from it. This is especially convenient during presentations and group research.
A color LCD screen, high-resolution photos, and videos
Instead of the classic eyepieces, there is a 4.3-inch color LCD screen. It captures an image observed through the objective and shows it in real time. If necessary, the image can be displayed on a computer screen. To do so, connect the microscope to the computer using the included USB cable. You can use optical or digital magnification for studying specimens. The total magnification range varies from 3 to 220 times. The microscope also allows for capturing high-resolution images and recording videos in Full HD quality (requires a memory card, not included).
The lighting system on flexible holders
The lighting system is not an ordinary system. Several LEDs are located inside the objective – this is a standard upper lighting for observations in the reflected light. There are also two LED spotlights on flexible holders that can be bent at different angles so that you can more accurately align the lighting of the working area. The lighting brightness is adjustable.
Capturing photos and videos using the wireless remote control
All control elements are located directly under the LCD screen, but some of the options are duplicated on remote controls. There are actually two of them: one remote control is wired, and the other is wireless. A wired remote control switch is used to control the lighting. It is located on the power cable. Use it for turning the microscope on/off and adjusting the lighting brightness. The wireless remote control allows you to adjust magnification, capture images, and record videos. It makes it easier to make high-quality recordings since the slightest touch of the microscope can change the settings, and the image or video will be blurry.
